Pacific Modular
BriefPacific Modular is a modular home company designing and constructing homes on Canada’s west coast. With a background in remote construction, the founders recognized the growing need for affordable, high-quality housing suited to British Columbia’s climate and landscape.
The goal was to develop a modern, minimal brand identity that reflected the architectural precision of their builds while clearly communicating the company’s focus on thoughtful design and construction.
The ApproachThe identity draws inspiration directly from the geometric forms found in modular architecture. At the center of the system is a custom icon built from angular shapes that echo the clean lines and structural logic of the homes themselves.
The icon creates a subtle optical illusion, allowing the structure to be perceived from multiple perspectives. This layered form reflects both the modular nature of the construction process and the scalability of the company’s work — from individual homes to larger multi-home developments.
The resultThe final identity balances architectural precision with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The geometric icon anchors the brand with a distinctive mark that references the structure and craftsmanship behind Pacific Modular’s builds.
A sleek, minimal sans-serif typeface complements the thin line work of the icon, reinforcing the brand’s modern character and allowing the identity to feel confident, clear, and adaptable across a variety of applications.

Colour palette
The Pacific Modular color palette features a harmonious blend of natural hues. A smoky dark blue evokes the ocean environments in which the homes are built, symbolizing depth and tranquility. In contrast, a warm wood grain brown adds warmth and a sense of organic comfort, drawing inspiration from the natural materials used in construction. This earthy tone reinforces the brand's commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. Completing the palette is a creamy sand hue, reminiscent of sandy shores. This soft colour introduces a touch of lightness and balance, enhancing the overall aesthetic while evoking the calming coastal landscape. Together, these colours create a cohesive identity that reflects the brand's dedication to quality, nature, and modern living.
