Rove is a Vancouver Island-based creative studio driven by curiosity and a genuine desire to help businesses flourish. We work with people who are passionate about what they do and want their brand to reflect that passion. We approach every project with openness and a natural sense of discovery, guided by a carefully designed strategic process.

We believe in close collaboration, honesty when it matters, and celebrating progress along the way. Think of us as your guide through the process. We are here to encourage you, challenge you when needed, and help your brand grow with confidence.

Our Story

Rove began with the recognition that many business owners need more than design alone. They need to feel fully supported through every part of the branding process, from understanding each step to knowing how to use their brand with confidence once it’s complete.

Our goal has always been to create a supportive process that empowers. We help clients understand their brand on a deeper level, feel inspired by it, and confidently champion it in the world. This work goes beyond aesthetics. It’s about building brands that feel genuine, expressive, and easy to carry forward.

Fiona Hawkes

Creative Director, BFA, BDes

Fiona values the quiet moments of discovery that give a brand its direction. She listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and helps uncover what feels true. Rove grew from her belief that meaningful design comes from connection and curiosity.

Her creative journey began through photography, where she learned to see the world through light, composition, and perspective. This led her to pursue fine arts at Emily Carr University, followed by formal training in graphic design at Vancouver Island University. These experiences shaped her thoughtful, grounded approach to building brands that last.
